Tugs and pushers

Tug/pusher “Cremona”

The continuing search for technical solutions, suitable for the resolution of specific operational needs, has led to the development of hulls particularly suited to river boating in shallow waters. They have been deleted all problems related to overheating of the motors, caused by blockage of the sea sockets and filters, well known by those who are frequently forced to navigate in the presence of shallow and muddy water. The shell maintains a constant attitude in navigation, regardless of the depth of the river.

The Company produces different types of river and maritime tugs/pushers under RINA class:

  • CONVENTIONAL with propeller and rudder lines
  • AZIMUTHAL usually with 2 stern propulsions capable of directing the thrust in any direction in 360° arc
  • TRACTOR TUG equipped with two propulsions placed at the bow with omni-directional thrust

The needs of the market require a wide versatility of the means of work and it is for this reason that any type of tugboat in production can be equipped with a variety of structures and accessories. The more frequent requests include the allocation of fire pumps, capable of hitting the boat in flames remaining at considerable distances (up to 100 meters) with high flow rates of water, or the ability to restrict oil spills through the use of floating booms. Finally, with rec-oil devices, the collected products can be stored in structural boxes.
